Original Empore™ C18-HD StageTips — the standard for peptide desalting and fractionation for LC-MS proteomics since 1989 (formerly 3M). High-density C18 bonded spherical silica membrane with r = 0.99 tip-to-tip reproducibility (HeLa lysate, n=3).

Protocol
1. Conditioning: Pass 50 µL methanol through the tip, then 50 µL of 0.5% TFA.
2. Sample loading: Load sample in acidified solution. Pass through twice for best retention.
3. Wash: Wash with 50–100 µL of 0.5% TFA, followed by 50–100 µL of 0.5% acetic acid (AcOH).
4. Elute: Elute with 10–30 µL of 80% acetonitrile / 0.5% AcOH. Repeat 1–2 times for complete recovery.
