CDS Empore™ 3290 Strontium RAD Disks are specialized solid phase extraction (SPE) tools designed for the selective capture and quantification of Strontium-90. These 47 mm disks incorporate Crown Ether bonded silica particles (12 µm) through molecular recognition technology to ensure precise retention of Strontium isotopes.
Once captured, the target analyte remains immobilized on the disk and can serve as the counting medium for liquid scintillation or radiometric counting. This significantly reduces turnaround time and overall operating costs in radiochemical analysis workflows.
